28th annual Deschutes River cleanup announced for July 27, volunteers wanted

The 28th annual Deschutes River cleanup has been announced for July 27.

The Upper Deschutes Watershed Council will host the event next month at multiple sites along the river.

Volunteer registration for the event is now open. The council is also looking for 50 paddlers to help divers during the cleanup.

Sites include Riverbend Park, Tumalo State Park, Sunriver, and more.
