Collaborative Planning The Deschutes Basin Water Collaborative and Deschutes Partnership embody our collective endeavor to work together to manage and preserve the water resources and habitats within the Deschutes River Basin.

By uniting stakeholders, and working toward consensus-based solutions, we craft strategies to effectively balance water use across ecological, agricultural, and community needs. Our success with this approach can be seen in the rejuvenation of Whychus Creek and the Middle Deschutes River, and the restoration of flows within sections of the lower Crooked River. Together, these initiatives represent a holistic commitment to revitalizing flow and habitat for steelhead and salmon, while addressing the complex needs of the basin.
