DRC Welcomes New Office Manager, James Faughnan

The Deschutes River Conservancy is excited to announce that James Faughnan has joined our team as our new Office Manager. James comes to the DRC with a rich background in agriculture and community building, having devoted his time during the early COVID shutdowns to organic market gardening throughout Colorado, New Mexico, and Oregon.

James brings with him a strong commitment to sustainability and community. His journey to Bend began with his studies in Food Systems and Environmental Communication in Boulder, CO, but it was the hands-on work of growing vegetables and forming equitable food distribution networks that truly captured his passion. This practical experience, combined with his love for the Bend area, makes him a valuable addition to our team.

As the Office Manager at Deschutes River Conservancy, James will provide essential office and administrative support, ensuring that our team operates smoothly and efficiently. His attention to detail, organizational skills, and passion for the environment will be instrumental in helping us achieve our mission to protect and restore the Deschutes River and its tributaries.

Please join us in giving a warm welcome to James Faughnan. We are thrilled to have him on board and eager to see the positive impact he will bring to our community and our work.
